Pocketful is a puzzle game made by Ben Yim. This policy explains what information the app handles, and it's short because Pocketful is built to keep your data on your device.
Your puzzle progress, solve history, statistics, streaks, hints, and settings are stored only on your device. Pocketful has no accounts and no servers of its own, so we never see, collect, or store this information. Deleting the app deletes it.
The free version of Pocketful shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device identifiers, and ad interaction data. How Google uses this information is described in Google's partner sites policy and privacy policy.
If you allow tracking when iOS asks (the App Tracking Transparency prompt), Google may use your device's advertising identifier to show more relevant ads. If you decline, or never see an ad, no such tracking occurs. You can change this choice anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In regions with consent laws (such as the EEA and UK), Pocketful shows a consent form before any ads, and your choices there control how ads are served.
Subscribers to Pocketful Premium see no ads, and no ad technology is initialized for them at all.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive your name, payment details, or billing information. Your subscription status is verified on-device through Apple's StoreKit.
If you enable daily-challenge reminders, those notifications are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent from or to a server.
Pocketful is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, child or adult, because the app collects no personal information at all.
Because Pocketful keeps no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on request. Your data lives with you. For information handled by Google in connection with advertising, including your rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws, see Google's privacy policy. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in iOS Settings.
If Pocketful ever changes how it handles data (for example, if optional accounts or cloud sync are added), this policy will be updated here before those features ship, with a new effective date.
