How to play Operators Sums.
Operators is Sums with the signs taken out. The bank holds plus and minus tiles as well as numbers, and an equation is only true once both are in. Usually the numbers already on the board tell you which sign fits.
The board.
Two equations that cross, with blank squares where the signs should be. The bank holds a 7 and two minus tiles.

The rule.
A sign square only takes a sign tile, a number square only a number. Tap a tile, then tap where it goes.
Let the numbers pick the sign.
Read an equation with its numbers in place and ask which sign makes it true. Six something four is two: only minus does that.

Common questions.
Are there other signs?
Plus and minus on beginner boards. Harder boards add multiplication and division, and the same habit works: let the numbers pick.
What if a sign fits both ways?
Check the crossing equation. A sign that works across often breaks the line down, and that decides it.
